My 13 year old daughter has got acrylic paint on a white polo shirt at school today – any ideas of how to get it out. I’ve washed it once and it is still there so I have put it in again with vanish – any magic solutions out there? Please!!!

    Im an apprentice painter.
sorry, but your not going to get it out completely, if much at all.

use pure alcohol and black soil, leave it to soak for abouts 30mins and and wala! its gone! Okay. So I learned from a friend of mine but I only did it once and it got most of the paint out but it’s not guaranteed. he said it worked for him though.
    Another Option:
You might try Goof Off. I think they make it in a water-based form as well. It removes latex paint and it might work for you if the paint was indeed water-based. Oil, Alkyd, or solvent based paints are not going to come out so easily and may require a stronger solvent.
It’s worth it to try several options. Hope you solve it. Thanks,

try soaking the stained area in pure washing up liquid – both sides. then wash it alone in machine. this may help but may need to repeat process a few times.
    good luck
