Specialist Cargo Advisor / Manager – Based in Bangkok, Thailand

Job Description:-

International company based on Ekkamai requires a proactive and dynamic Specialist Cargo Advisor / Manager in a growing environment. The successful applicant will be working with colleagues and clients worldwide. This position will report directly to the Managing Director.

* Very strong in depth knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics
* MUST HAVE -
* Specific knowledge and experience of Dangerous Goods movements (DGR), air and ocean
* Specific knowledge and experience of handling Perishable and Temperature Sensitive cargo, air and ocean
* Specific knowledge and experience of Project Cargo and Project movements including chartering, both air and ocean
* Specific knowledge and experience of Time Sensitive cargo, AOG, Ships Spares and other time critical transportation
* MUST BE ABLE TO -
* Work closely with existing client base to ensure and proactively develop new business programmes
* Identify suitable exhibitions and venues worldwide for the above specialist freight disciplines
* Actively drive and continuously improve communication with client base in written ENGLISH language
* Confident to deal with foreign international companies on daily basis in an advisory capacity with the emphasis upon communication skills
* Good organizational and management skills a requirement.

Qualifications:-

* University graduate in any relevant fields
* Minimum of 10 years experience in freight forwarding , with a proven track record in the above specialty disciplines
* Consultative and solution based experience in a business to business environment an advantage
* Proven track record with working international companies
* Fluency in spoken and written English essential
* Cultural sensitivity essential and must have experience of working internationally and have a proven capability to manage diverse teams
* Team player with leadership skills
