First of all, yes, classics like Mickey and Minnie and all those old school things are awesome. We all know and love them, but sometimes you need a change. The world is a different place itself. Why would you want to stay the same your whole life? Let me just ask you, if you watched Peter Pan everyday, how sick of it would you get? The rarity of it is what makes it special. Hannah Montana and High School Musical are for the new generation. We need progress, and that comes in the form of getting away from cartoons. I have grown up with both. I personally love the new Disney, and I am about to be 18. But I still fully appreciate the classics. And the truth of the matter is that they will always be classics.
Yeah, and all of these 3D movies now… they have forgotten their artistic side, Disney.
You have to remember the whole issue of “Disneyfication”. Disney is a business: their first priority is to make money.
