Is The Six Flags: Magic Mountain Season Pass Deal For Real, Without Any Catches?
I recently saw a deal on the Six Flags website (for the one in Valencia, CA) where the Season Passes cost as much as a regular admission ticket. There has to be a catch, right? Because wouldn’t everyone be getting season passes then?

This deal is only till May though. But yeah, they are hurting really bad for business and so figure that if they basically give you a season pass you will come more times and spend more money there. I know for a fact its the same price (technically a dollar LESS) for a season pass there because I just bought one
Also, it comes with a booklet with free tickets and stuff. its awesome. and theres NO blackout dates.
I live 5 minutes away from six flags and my brother is an employee there. They do this special every year and people are always surprised. there is no catch.

and some-yank is wrong.there was a rumor that it was going to go under like 5 years ago and it never has. six flags is funded by the city and will NOT go under. its a main tourist attraction and they have soo many sponsors its ridiculous. (my dad is part of the city of valencia council)
Careful. Did you read the headlines today on Yahoo news? They are one of the 15 companies predicted to fail this year. If that happens, your pass may become a worthless piece of paper (or plastic maybe). That would be a potential catch.
