Polycell do a good product that even mentions crayonshttp://www.polycell.co.uk/products/polyc…
Also if you go to a large DIY store they should have people who can advise you.
You’ll probably have to paint over what ever you put down first try to choose a paint that is just off-white (like eggshell or cream) it will help.

Been there, done that. I let my grandson have his friends do graffiti on his bedroom walls with magic markers. When he moved out I tried to remove it. I finally found rubbing alcohol and a lot of elbow grease worked. Once it has been painted over though I don’t think you can do that. Some of mine didn’t come off even with the rubbing alcohol. I painted it 2 times with primer before I got it stopped. My walls now are a beautiful pale yellow with no signs of graffiti.

I would first suggest getting some primer. It’ll help with painting a lighter color over a dark/bright colors. Then once that completely dries paint it with white. Let that completely dry. Then put another coat of paint up. This should work. Good luck.
