Why Do People Believe That Crap Derren Brown Said About How He “predicted” The Lottery?
He used the split screen, the “shake” was added, it’s a digital effect.. the view from the back of the hall was prerecorded, if he wanted to predict the numbers he could have done BEFORE the draw, but his little excuse was “because we can’t announce the numbers before the draw”.. which is wrong because a prediction is not the same..
Just another scam, like David Blaine hovering, tv work. I like Derren’s other work though, the REAL stuff.
What If I Don’t Believe In Jesus? I Believe In God, And Follow Many Of The Beliefs Of Christians, But….
I’m just not sure if I believe in Jesus. It seems so strange to put our love and faith in a man, who thousands of years ago, said he was god’s son… I almost feel bad about it, you know? I mean, it says in the TEN COMMANDMENTS!!! “Thou shall worship no other god”. Seems to me like we ARE worshiping another god. Really, how smart were these people back then that saw/recorded/passed down the miracles of Christ? People like David Blaine and David Copperfield would have been absolute phenoms back in the day, you know?? What’s wrong with me, where do I fit in…. Answers anyone???

I am an atheist, but I respect all religion and their beliefs, so I’d expect the same fr om them.
However, this thought has always puzzled my mind. If people who believe in God believe that he is an all knowing man that can not be seen, and who created everything on Earth with his bare hands, etc. Then why do they hate magic and things so much? And I’m not talking about David Blaine doing a card Trick.
I’m not saying God did “magic”, b/c that sounds disrespectful, but it’s almost along the same idea, I mean a man who can walk on water, and just create things out of nowhere?
So why do christians/catholics say magic and wiccan beliefs, and harry potter, etc. are the devils work?

hi its dom and today i want to ask u guys something i am in the tenth grade and my family and i have not been getting along i mean i used to get good grades and when i entered high school i started to get bad marks and one day my dad called this man who has knowledge on black magic anyways h e said to my dad that my family is possessed with black magic and we always seem to be fighting and getting bad luck for example my dads truck always used to have a problem which made my dad pay 20 grand to fix so he was upset with that and he told me my mom to pray something like that and when after that i started to get good grades and my dads truck didnt break and we are doing will money management and he said to do it for 40 days and we are like on day 20 and we all seem to get along now so my questions is do u guys think there is black magic ?

I am having a hard time believing a book written by man!!! I understand the bible and i’ve read it but am still having problems. It tells about these crazy feats that happened and they are outrageous! Second of all people go to church and believe that moses parted the red sea and jesus walked on water. Then take those same people out of the church setting and let someone tell them that jesus talk to them and into the straight jacket you go! Also where did the dinosaurs get mentioned etc etc etc Hard to believe that a book written by man thousand of years ago is true and that jesus might have just been another david blaine with a sales pitch!!!
