If Someone Were To Visit La What Would One Do To Fully Experience It?

-I was thinking santa monica pier / 3rd street just because its so alive with street performers and that nice vibe going
-tickets to some late night show (like jimmy kimmel or something)
-maybe cool little spots like hotel cafe
What are some other ideas for someone who’s looking to experience what LA is all about?
excluding magic mountain and universal studios (maybe city walk but im trying to avoid amusement parks like disney land and such)
And i’m also avoiding tours / sight seeing stuff. Looking for something adventurous or just a fun environment

Is College Really A Necessary And Positive Experience?

Aside from the college degree of course. That magic piece of paper is important for landing a good job. But aside from that, is the college experience really that valuable?
I’m in college now, and most of what I’ve learned during my time in college I’ve learned outside of school on my own. I mostly just see college students partying and drinking. So what’s the point, really?
