i just got curious over how long people can do it
the world records are confusing however it is david blaine

who held it for 15 minutes and 2 seconds.
however that was all with the assistance of pre inhaled Oxygen
but he dos hold The world record for breath being held under water without the assistance of inhaled oxygen and it stands at nine minutes and eight seconds

My guess is that he’s going to sneak a breath of pure oxygen just before his attempt. Free divers do this and some have been known to hold their breath for up to 15 minutes.
