Jesus Is God?

Why does he need to go through all those suffering on the cross? Can you imagine those people turturing a GOD? Kicking and bashing and humiliating GOD? A true God could just grap the entire earth and throw earth away to another galaxy. He Dont need to stood that low.
Why can’t you all just accept that Jesus eat food and go toilet for some business. He is without father just like ADAM. If you say about his miracles then Moses did miracles too. What if one day David blaine say himself is GOD will you believe him?
Jesus role is to pass down msges from GOD to love and worship God alone. Well Jesus and all his deciple is Jewish. EVEN Paul is Jewish too. Jewish preach to worship 1 GOD and worship him alone. That is what Jesus did. Jesus never said to worship HIMself. Jesus said to worship the father not him. He is just a prophet Like Moses and Muhammad(pbut).
Pls don quote any of your bible phrases. Do explain in your own words.
So the ques is, “Is Jesus God?”

Why Was There A Religion Formed After Jesus?

Why did people start to follow Jesus and form this entire religion after him, when was just a carpenter who preached to people?
In the Bible it says he had powers (etc.), but that’s pretty much equal to starting a religion after David Blaine or Criss Angel or someone.
I mean, (NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE) what if Jesus went crazy, and just started telling everybody that he was the son of ‘God’? What if he was just a normal person, and here are a bunch of people that have dedicated their lives to him and ‘God’, and a book that was written about him years and years after he ‘died’.
Seriously, I’m not trying to convert anyone or make fun of your beliefs. I seriously want to know. And if you’re going to answer this, then actually ANSWER it, don’t just tell me “stop stirring things up”.

Would All These People Have Died If They Had Believed Jesus Was Just Another Magician Of That Day?

That all these men were tortured horribly and gave their lives for a magic trick? Would anyone do this for David Blaine?
Matthew suffered martyrdom in Ethopia, killed by a sword wound.
Mark died in Alexandria, Egypt, dragged by horses through the streets until he was dead.
Luke was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous preaching to the lost.
John was boiled in a huge basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered from death. John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison island of Patmos where he wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation. The Apostle John was later freed and returned to serve as a bishop in modern Turkey. He died an old man, the only Apostle to die peacefully.
Peter, was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross, according to Church tradition, because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die the same way that Jesus Christ had died.
James the Just, the leader of the Church in Jerusalem and brother of Jesus, was thrown down more than a hundred feet from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller’s club. This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation.
James the Greater, a son of Zebedee, was a fisherman by trade when Jesus called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the Church, James was ultimately beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman soldier who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.
Bartholomew, also known as Nathanael, was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed about our Lord in present day Turkey. He was whipped to death for his preaching in Armenia.
Thomas was speared and died on one of his missionary trips to establish the Church in India.
Jude, another brother of Jesus, was killed with arrows after refusing to deny his faith in Christ.
Matthias, the Apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and beheaded.
Barnabas, one of the group of seventy disciples, was stoned to death at Salonica.
Paul was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment which allowed him to write his many epistles to the Churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational doctrines of Christianity, from a large portion of the New Testament.
How does an Atheist explain this?

How Would You Know If Jesus Came Back?

Christians believe that Jesus is going to come back from the dead again, right?
How will people know? In this day and age, it’s easy enough for shinksters to pull off magical illusions. If somebody came forward tomorrow and claimed to be Jesus, then started turning water into wine, people would think he was pulling a David Blaine. Or if Jesus performed any miracles, the skeptics would brush it off as smoke and mirrors. If he healed anybody, people might just see it as another one of those goofy “The power of Christ!!” FOX ministers.
Or even fine Catholic folk as yourself; you might take it very personally that somebody is claiming to be Jesus, taking the Lord’s name. You might get upset; angry even. Would you know enough to realize that it’s actually Jesus?
I mean, I was walking down the street the other day and a homeless man asking for change said he was Jesus. Odds are he wasn’t; or was he? Maybe he gave away his life to charity, sold all his possessions, so he could live on the street begging for money. That’s what Jesus taught; give it to somebody who needs it. Give ’till it hurts.
But I digress; If Jesus came back tomorrow, how would you know?

What If I Don’t Believe In Jesus? I Believe In God, And Follow Many Of The Beliefs Of Christians, But….

I’m just not sure if I believe in Jesus. It seems so strange to put our love and faith in a man, who thousands of years ago, said he was god’s son… I almost feel bad about it, you know? I mean, it says in the TEN COMMANDMENTS!!! “Thou shall worship no other god”. Seems to me like we ARE worshiping another god. Really, how smart were these people back then that saw/recorded/passed down the miracles of Christ? People like David Blaine and David Copperfield would have been absolute phenoms back in the day, you know?? What’s wrong with me, where do I fit in…. Answers anyone???
