ok me and my cousins got into an arguement about who would win on a 2 on 2 match between both basically old school vs new school, kobe n jordan gaurd eachother same with lbj n magic, i would say kobe n lebron would win because lebron would kill magic in any position but if kobe would need help on mj lebron would help, jordan isnt gonna make 10 out of 10 shots he needs help, magic doesnt have enoughpower to get past lebron or D him up, no one i dont care wat u say NO ONE can block kobes fade aways if lebron 6 foot 8 most athletic nba player today cant block his shot than jordan cant either, i just want everyones opinion n a really good explanation of why i would be wrong by choosing kobe n lebron, n dont say cuz jordans best player in tha world cuz without pippen he wouldnt be ****……………….

Why I Became A “michael Jordan Realist” Instead Of A Jordan Jocker?

I grew up watching the Lakers and Celtics of the Great 80′s.Larry and Magic played Basketball in it’s purest form.In this Great era(80′s) Michael Jordan was a Highlight waiting to happen, But HIS TEAMS were LACKLUSTER and were stepping stones for the Celtics and Pistons…..as the 80′s closed the waterd down 90′s opened up.The NBA Expanded, Highschool Kids were flooding the seen and Michael Jordan started to win Titles…Finally!
at first I was happy for him….he was an exciting player who was fun to watch. But somwhere down the line he started to believe his own hype.I saw the media make up LIES about him, in order to make money(he was never cut from his highschool team)…the media twisted words to make it seem like he was the best!…..Larry and Magic were GONE…so the NBA needed to make money!….Phantom calls and Blatant coddling helped Michael jordan win 3 NBA Titles…..I had grown so sick of hearing how Michael Jordan was the best ever that I was Happy when he QUIT to play baseball…(remember Jordan could’nt win JACK in the 80′s,,,,and the NBA was saying he was better then Magic and Bird?)…He quit to play beseball because he believed his own hype about his greatness,,,HE ACTUALLY THOUGHT HE COULD SAVE BASEBALL……when he found out that he could’nt I thought the NBA would hand him the LOTrophy upon his return.The next year they did…..they gave him Rodman!…..
3 more years and 3 more Titles….and all these Kids who never saw Magic and Bird play were calling MJ “THE BEST EVER”…”HE WILLED HIMSELF TO VICTORY”….”HE WAS A GREAT LEADER WHO COULD DO NO WRONG”…..I would just laugh…..these people do not know what basketball is….they are SHEEP to the media….and I will tell them the TRUTH!…..I will be the WOLF!….are you a WOLF?….or are you a SHEEP?……

Why Do Nba Players Always Have To Be The Next Jordan, Magic Or Bird?

Grant Hill. Kobe Bryant. Vince Carter. Tracy McGrady. Lebron James. Dwayne Wade. All got pegged as the next Michael Jordan as soon as they showed a hint of greatness. Allen Iverson was the next Isaiah Thomas. Dirk Nowitzki got labeled as the next Larry Bird. Penny Hardaway got tagged as the next Magic Johnson. Before Shaun Livingston graduated from high school, he got slapped with a Next Magic tag just b/c he was tall and could dribble. Even Jordan himself was a next. He was to be the next Dr. J.
Why are fans and the media so obsessed with digging up corpses? All of the aforementioned players are great in their own rights. Jordan grew up watching Dr. J, so naturally, he influenced his game. All those other guys grew up watching Jordan. Gatorade played the Like Mike commercials so much that is was like a subliminal message. Sure Kobe pumps his fist like MJ. Yes Lebron wears 23. Of course Wade has mastered the trick shot. Jordan was who they modeled their games after. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn’t mean they have to be the Next Jordan. Each of them bring something to the table that Jordan didn’t have. So, why can’t they be the first them instead of the next someone else?
