Need A Middle Name!!?
Ok My Husbands name is David and so was his dad so we are gonna name our son David as well….i need a good middle name that goes with david..keep in mind the middle name will kinda be the first b/c thats what we will call him

Iep (individualized Education Plans) – Why Do Parents In Middle School Initiate This Process?
Do they think it will make a child who is a couple of grade levels behind suddenly catch up? Do they think this document means their child will get daily one-on-one services? I am not saying special ed. needs don’t exist. What I am questioning are those parents who thought their child was gifted for several years and now because the kid is failing in middle school suddenly think a learning disability must be involved. Additionally, they think getting an IEP is like a magic pill that will make the problem go away. Since I can’t flat out ask them these “nonpolitically correct” questions at the meetings, I thought I would just throw it out here.

Im thinking about putting my poem in our 8th grade poetry contest but i dont know if i should do it. please suggest some things i should work on and if my poem is good enough to put in:
GOODBYE HEWES: by Nahreen
From the day we arrived at _______middle school
Our parents holding our hands
We thought since we were in 6th grade, we were so cool
Soon we learned it was the 8th graders who took command
As 6th graders we were like lost puppies
We didn’t know at all where to go
We didn’t expect any bullies
We learned to get out of their way pronto
But that was 2006, 3 years ago
3 years that went by so fast
Now we are leprechauns reaching the end of the rainbow
Finding our pot of gold at last
We are no longer little kids anymore
Our childhood is beginning to pass
Now we are the big 8th graders that are adored
We are smarter, mature, and have class
Although school can sometimes be a bore
We learn so many things, so fast
We are so much smarter now than 3 years before
We have to admit, sometimes school’s a blast
But we couldn’t have gone through this alone
Our teachers have helped us through the way
Sometimes we wish they could be dethroned
But it’s great how they listen to what we say
Each has a quality we love about them
A unique characteristic makes them special
They all shine bright like a rare gem
They help us so much even as we struggle
Ms.Katnik uses so much useful logic
Her teaching tricks work as though they’re magic
Ms. Dehn is so sympathetic
Her voice is like a song’s lyric
Ms. Miller welcomes you with much honor
A step in her classroom and smile makes you warmer
Mr. Cook has a great sense of humor
He taught us so much, like about our femur
Mr. Rasher helps me be a great athlete
When I leave his class, you should hear my heart beat
Ms. DeArakal is one of the most elite
She is hilarious and so sweet
Although we love them so much
They won’t be our teachers forever
As teachers, they have the golden touch
Each day, they help us shine brighter
We are in 8th grade, almost 9th graders
Our time in middle school has past
We’ll miss everything like the blue lockers
Our time has gone by so fast.
Good Manga About Middle School Or Elementary Girls ??
I already asked this question before, but i didnt get many answers. So i’ll ask again, I would like some good shojo manga, NOT anime. They must have a good layout and have romance. They could also have drama, comedy, action, romance, magic ect.
Nothing dark, or too much action.
MUSTS:
- Main character must be a girl
- Main characters must be in middle school or elemantary school.
Just list everything down that you have, that have these things. It doesnt matter they dont have the manga in english as i want to read them in another language.

What Book Should I Read For A Middle School Book Report?
I haven’t been a very avid reader during summer but in the school year i love to read. What book do you think would be a good book to start off the year with? I like realistic fic. sometimes but mostly sci fi, like more mid evil and magic or gregor series type books. ( i’ve read the 1st and second gregor books). nothing thicker than the thinest Harry Potter Book.
