Name This Book Or The Author…?
I read a book in the summer of 1992 that was incredible! And I can’t for the life of me remember the name. It’s fiction, a thriller to be specific. It starts off with someone, I believe sitting in a car, waiting for someone else, or more appropriately, trying to track down a murderer…I believe they were all prostitutes he was murdering. The two were friends from Catholic School. And as kids they broke into a priest’s closet and stole a book on black magic then went out to Coney Island to cast a spell. Something happened off in the distance, which turned out to be one of the kids in the future making a deal with the Devil. Well the one committing the murders became a high power lawyer, thanks to his pact with the Devil. But as part of his payment he had to murder people and give them to the Devil. Fantastic book. I had totally forgotten about it till recently when my wife reminded me of it, and we cannot come up with the name. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
What Is The Name Of This Book?
there was this book that I read in middle school and i don’t remember the name of it. i remember some info from the book. the stuff that I do remember is that it was about this girl who lives with her parents. Her parents sold potions or some type of magic. In one scene of the book the girl goes over this other person’s house and she gets scared of the microwave. the girl says that she knew what microwaves looked like from a book , but she didn’t know they would be that noisy. well thats all i could remember. if anyone know what book this is can you please tell me. thanks

It is a show is about a young boy who walks into this elite magic school or at least a well known one and he meets its most powerful student (and one of the most in the world to if i remember correctly) and she pretty much love at first sight. she turns all the near by tree into cherry blossoms as the story progresses this weird guys shows up trying to trip the kid up and get the girl who is his rival if you need more info let me know but i can’t just quite remember its name
What Would You Name These Characters From My Novels?
These are all random characters out of so many books and stories I’ve written. I’m going to give you a description … and let’s see what you guys can come up with!
1. This girl is fifteen, short, has boring brown hair and glasses. She moves from Quebec to Prince Edward Island. Her favourite pastimes are reading and listening to music. People thinks she’s weird because she keeps mostly to herself…
2. This is a sixteen-year-old boy. He lives underground in a small city. He is sent up to the surface of the world to search for love. He has incredible brown eyes and dark brown hair. He’s extremely sweet. And, though this is a story set in the present time, he speaks like he’s from the 1800s because the city is underground, and that’s the only way they ever knew how to speak xD. The city is magical, and he’s graduated from Beginner’s Magic School. So when he goes to the surface of the earth, the girl who he falls in love with is fascinated by how mysterious he is. He looks at things with such interest…like it’s amazing how a bird flies and how a flower grows. And that’s true, for him, because he’s looking at these things with new eyes. He’s only ever known the magical creatures…well, enough. What do you name him?
3. This is a … weird vampire. (This is a hilarious story…don’t mind how stupid this sounds xD) HE’S GOT BUCK TEETH. Like, huge, weird teeth. And his best friend eats pickles. And he stalks the girl he likes. But she likes his pickle-eating friend. And he’s oblivious to that fact. His dad cheats on his mom, and his mom just innocently watches TV. That’s kinda funny, because in one scene in the story … never mind. Just, what would you name this f***ed up vamp? 
4. A nineteen-year-old girl who lives with her mom. She’s single, with a little baby boy named Dylan. She can’t go into college because she has to take care of Dylan. Her ex-boyfriend broke up with her as soon as she told him she was pregnant, and a week later, she saw him with another, way-more-attractive girl. She’d never spoken to him since. Well, the house she and her mom live in is getting harder and harder to take care of. So they let two other people – a guy and his mom – move in with them, to pay rent to them. This guy’s name is Mitch. Well, he is in artist. He absolutely loves Dylan. He is the girl’s age, too. Eventually, the girl falls in an awkward love with him. Again, enough of my going on and on … what would you name this character?
5. This isn’t a main character in a book … but basically, she’s a *****. xD She wears so much make-up that you can’t tell what is natural. The way she speaks itself is threatening enough. Her hair reaches her shoulders, and is a shockingly bright and light blonde. With black streaks. She lies to the main character, and is very, very mean. Invites her to a party that she makes sound like it’s “PG”…but really, it was a huge house party with zero parental supervision, etc. etc. She is sneaky. And she likes the same person the main character likes, so just HOW much worse does she treat the main character? Nastily worse. What would you name this evil character >.>

Searching For A Fantasy Novel From My Youth, Can’t Remember Name Or Author, Was Hoping The Internet Could Help?
I remember the title had the word “magic” in it, but I could be mistaken. Youth fiction, in which a magician visits a court and one of the youth runs off with him to become a magician at magic school. He gets in trouble, casts lightning, summons a demon, and saves the world or something similar. In the end he’s sent on a redemption quest to Serpent Tower (or some variation there-of) in which he’s vowed to not use magic for the duration. I can’t for the life of me remember anything else about the book, except that I really wanted to read the sequel (it’s been a good 9 years since – I remembered it only from some memorabilia I was sorting through)

When bringing plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school was pretty much cool, and saying “NOT,” after every sentence was the way to talk. When every argument was settled by rock paper scissors, bubble gum bubble gum in a dish, or daddy had a donkey inky binky bonky. When cops and robbers was a daily activity, and when hide and go seek was put to pause only when it was snack time. The days when we used to actually obey our parents and when the radio was all we depended on for music. When you knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green ranger, were meant to be together. When you always wanted to send in a tape to America’s Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny…so you gave up. When the Magic School Bus made you think that school buses could fly, and when yo-yos made you popular. When getting married meant buying your crush a Ring Pop, and blabbing some random words behind the dumpster. When reading that little paper in the fortune cookie meant everything to you because it predicted your life. The days when you could tell furbie all your little secrets and expect him to talk back, and when Beanie Babies were the talk of the class. When you got creeped out by “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” And when you knew the Macarena by heart. When you lied to your parents to bring you to McDonalds because you were starving, when really, you wanted to play in the play place. When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing, and when checking out drawing books and “Rainbow Fish” from the library was the cool thing to do.
Before we realized all this would eventually disappear we didn’t bother to think of how good things were.
