My friend has an uncle who always tells him number tricks. He then comes in to school and boasts and does not tell anyone about the magic behind them, can someone help me out so that I can trick him or belive him that I can read minds.

Magic Math My Answer To Your Number Is 1089?
Ok you MIGHT need a calculator for this. You see my answer above, now try it….
Pick any three digit number with no two digits alike and no zeros (123, 548. doesnt matter the order)
Now take your three digit number and reverse it. (123 becomes 321)
Now take the smaller number and subtract it from the larger number (321-123)
Now take that answer and write it down
Now take that number and reverse it like you did above (123 becomes 321) Special note, use grade school math.. that is to say place a zero in the open area…. ie if your answer was 99 your three digit number is 099 and reversed would be 990)
Now add the two new numbers together (the answer from the subtraction and the reverse of that number)
If you did the math right, your answer is 1089.
