What’s There To Do In Orlando?

Okay, so my best friend (who’s a guy) and I are going to Orlando next weekend for a whole week, we’re taking the train, and we’re staying right on International Drive across the street from Wet N Wild. We got tickets to Universal, so we’ll be there a lot. But what I want to know is what else is there to do in Orlando, especially on I-Drive (b/c we’re not renting a car). (oh yea, he’s 21, I’m 22). We’ve been to Orlando b4 to Universal and Disney, but that on a school trip in high school. Also if anyone could give me estimates on cab rates…that’d be great (gotta get from the train station to the hotel prolly a few other places). Here are some things we thought about doing while there besides Universal : Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium, Wonderworks (the upside down building), Orlando Science Center, Terror In Orlando (haunted house), Outta Control Magic Comedy Show (in Wonderworks), Universal City Walk (any suggestions on which restaurants/clubs to hit up?), Lake Ridge Winery

Nba Fans Only!!! Who’s The Best Big Man In Orlando Magic History? Shaq Or Dwight Howard?

i’m a diehard orlando magic fan and now that dwight howard has made it to his first nba finals my queston to everyone is who do you think is the best big man in the history of the orlando magic between shaq and howard? before you answer and give feedback let me quickly remind u that shaq and howard were at different stages in their development when they got drafted to the magic; shaq(highy touted college superstar with 3 years NCAA experience at LSU) howard(unknown high school prodigy out of a small private school in atlanta) oh yeah before i conclude let me quickly give my opinion: i would have to say RIGHT NOW! it’s shaq by a very small margin(although i can’t stand how shaq belittles dwight in the media) only because he was a much more polished offensive player in his 4 years with orlando, but dwight is very close behind because he’s already a better rebounder than shaq is/was, his playoff record is identical to shaq’s, he’s better free shooter and will more than likely improve more, he blocks shots just as well as shaq did, and lastly he did one thing that shaq NEVER!! did with the magic: he lead the magic to their first ever nba finals victory, Hit me up with the feed back.
Shaq’s per game averages with orlando (1992-1996)
27.2 points
12.5 rebounds
2.4 assist
2.79 block
.82 steals
58.1% field goal
54.6 free throw
295 games played
293 games started
18W-18L playoff record
Dwight’s per game averages with orlando (2004-present)
17.3 points
12.5 rebounds
1.4 assist
2.0 blocks
.89 steals
56.8% field goal
60.1% free throw
407 games played
406 games started
18W-20L playoff record

3.5 Trip To Orlando?

Hi
I am planning a 3.5 day trip with my friends to Orlando, Florida.
We want to cover all the major attractions: Magic Kingdom, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Epcot Centre, Sea World, Water Park, Animal Kingdom, and a beach if possible :)
We are not sure how much time it will take for us to cover each of these attractions. Could you all help us plan our 3.5 days in orlando? 1)How much time it will take for each attraction 2) What all can we cover in one day? 3) How far are the attractions from each other 4) Where can we get the best deals for online tickets to these parks 5) what are the must go for rides in the theme parks.
Thank you all…

Is $1,000 Enough For A Week In Orlando?

We already purchased tickets for sea world and disney as well as paid for one night’s dinner at Sea World (dine with Shamu). We will be doing Sea World Sunday & Monday; Magic Kingdom on Tuesday; perhaps Hollywood studios on Wednesday (a friend who works there may get us in free, if he doesn’t we won’t do anything this day) Boardwalk at Disney on Thursday & California Grill, and then Animal Kingdom on Friday. Will $1,000 be enough for lunches, dinners, and souvenirs for 2 people? It’s part of our honeymoon, so I’m not sure.
Also, how much would you recommend taking in cash?

Can Someone Give Me Some Advice On My Summer Vacation At Disney World In Orlando, Florida?

This summer my family and I are talking about going to Disney World in Orlando. Since I’m graduating High School, we’ve decided to stay at a Resort. We want this trip to be extra special. We don’t want to pay too much; however, we don’t want to stay at a value Resort. We’re actually thinking about the Polynesian Resort or the Coronado Springs. *I* want a room with a view of the Magic Kingdom. So does anyone have any advice as to where to stay or what to do. Thanks!!

Ok, This weekend I am going to Magic Kingdom and Epcot for 2 days. I haven’t gotten the tickets yet and will just wait to get them down there. I was thinking about doing a medevil times dinner show but that would take a whole night right there. Has anyone been to city walk or board walk? I think it would be fun to go to Pat Obrian’s do get a hurricane and watch the dueling pianos. What is fun besides just the parks. Is Joe’s Crab shack a good place to eat down there?
