How Does David Blaine Perform His Tricks?
I’m quite impressed myself. However, some of the stunts I’ve seen him perform have a disappointing solution.
Take for example the levitation trick. How he does it is he’s actually standing on the toes of one foot set just right to where the audience can’t see it. He turns his back to the audience, roughly at a 45 degree angle to your profile. He rises a few inches and seems like he’s “levitating”.

His stunts may look amazing but it’s really just constant practice. Though when he performs feats like when he was drowned alive, it requires alot of determination and endurance. No matter, he is always pleasing to watch.
