Who Do You Think Are The Top 10 Players Of All-time, And Top 10 Players Today.?

All-time:
1.) Michael Jordan- Simply the G.O.A.T.
2.) Earvin “Magic” Johnson- Played all positions at an all-star level, but was a legend at Point. Outplayed Bird and the Celtics (no hate on Larry Legend).
3.) Wilt “The Stilt” Chamberlain- 100 points and 55 rebounds….. Blocks, steals, dunks, hops, and rebounds, and one of the best at each and every one of them.
4.) Larry “Legend” Bird- Best power forward of all-time, and there is no doubt about it.
5.) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar- Most points scored in a career, thats all that needs to be known. He was also a great rebounder, shooter, and leader, even if he was at Center.
6.) Bill Russell- This dude and Hakeem were simply the best shotblockers you will ever see (if not in person, watch them on youtube). Won like 11 rings. Again, thats enough.
7.) Bob Cousy- One of the most under rated players ever to be in the NBA. Crazy handles, and crazy passes. I think he is the older version of Chris Paul.
8.) Kobe Bryant- A great player with shots, rebounds, blocking, stealing, leadership (sometimes), and confidence.
9.) LeBron “Kings” James- Just look at his stats for this year, AMAZING.
10.) Scottie Pippen- The true leader of the ’80s and ’90s Bulls, he couldn’t do it without MJ, MJ couldn’t do it without him.
Today-
1.) Kobe Bryant- Read #8 in All-time
2.) LeBron “King” James- Read #9 in All-time
3.) Kevin “Big Ticket” Garnett- Defensive player of the year, 2 MVPs or something, one of the shotblocking and rebounding king of today, great shooting for his size.
4.) Allen “The Answer” Iverson- Almost the next Bob Cousy
5.) Chris Paul- Same as Iverson, but soon to be in the top 3
6.) Dwyane Wade- The next Kobe, but D-Wade can’t shoot or dunk or defend as well as Kobe himself
7.) Amare Stoudemire- A copy of KG, just not as good
8.) Paul Peirce
9.) Steve Nash
10.) Jason Kidd
If its too long, then don’t put down some short descriptions.

Should Players Go From High School To The Nba?

For every Kevin Garnett or Le Bron James that go from high school to the pros with relative ease; there are countless guys that “try(I guess)” to go to the NBA and come up way short.
In retrospect, in seems pretty obvious “Magic” was ready for the NBA after high school, but he went to college anyway for a while.
If these High School guys are so “great” then why do we need NBA players to go LOSE in international competition?
Everything I know about basketball tells me that if so many high school guys were ready for the NBA we could just take the best 12 or 13 Mc Donald’s All Americans and have them slap around the International competition. The truth is those high schoolers would get their mouths busted wide open and never recover from such a horrendous butt kicking.
What the hell is the matter with America? Why are people so stupid to think that High School guys are ready to make an impact in the NBA? The NBA stinks and is basically unwatchable in the regular season.

Why Do Nba Players Always Have To Be The Next Jordan, Magic Or Bird?

Grant Hill. Kobe Bryant. Vince Carter. Tracy McGrady. Lebron James. Dwayne Wade. All got pegged as the next Michael Jordan as soon as they showed a hint of greatness. Allen Iverson was the next Isaiah Thomas. Dirk Nowitzki got labeled as the next Larry Bird. Penny Hardaway got tagged as the next Magic Johnson. Before Shaun Livingston graduated from high school, he got slapped with a Next Magic tag just b/c he was tall and could dribble. Even Jordan himself was a next. He was to be the next Dr. J.
Why are fans and the media so obsessed with digging up corpses? All of the aforementioned players are great in their own rights. Jordan grew up watching Dr. J, so naturally, he influenced his game. All those other guys grew up watching Jordan. Gatorade played the Like Mike commercials so much that is was like a subliminal message. Sure Kobe pumps his fist like MJ. Yes Lebron wears 23. Of course Wade has mastered the trick shot. Jordan was who they modeled their games after. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn’t mean they have to be the Next Jordan. Each of them bring something to the table that Jordan didn’t have. So, why can’t they be the first them instead of the next someone else?
