Product Manager (Chemical Fire, Fire Suppression/Protection System)
Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for fire suppression chemical products in Asia-Pacific.
The Product Manager is essential due to the product orientation and involvement in all aspects of company operations related to the Product Line. Product Managers bring all the parts together, serving as a catalyst and a coordinator.
The coordinating activity of the Product Manager is one of the unique and essential features of the job. It comes into play at every stage of a program, from the development of plans through final implementation. The Product Manager keeps involved, not only in sales and marketing, but also in virtually every other major functional activity.
Develop both long and short term product objectives consistent with the objectives of the Fire Protection Group.
Formulate product plans to achieve the objectives of the Fire Protection Group.
Work with all group functions to ensure that their programs are adequate and consistent with the product plans.
Evaluate the progress of all programs pertaining to the Product Line and direct the attention of the appropriate functions to areas that need alteration or improvement.
Present a general management viewpoint in all policy decisions affecting the product line.
Promote cooperative interdepartmental relationships necessary to successfully execute the product and marketing plans
Requirements
Experience in chemical fire suppression/protection systems
Creative & strategic thinker
Ability to work unsupervised
High proficiency in English (will need to have regular dialogue with sister companies in the USA & Europe)
Experience in Product Management (3 years) in Fire Protection systems
Presentable, Good presentation skills
