Can I Re-enter Disney Once We Leave On The Same Day?

We are going to Orlando for a work event- but wanted to get tickets to Disney World for a couple of days. If we just buy the base tickets vs. magic your way tickets- are we able to leave and return to the same park on the same day or once you walk out the gates- your done for the day?
I know that magic your way lets you return to another park on the same day- but I guess I am trying to ask if you go to magic kingdom with a base ticket- can you return later in the afternoon if you choose to do so? We have some afternoon meetings but wanted to return after the meetings.

I was told of a card that my boyfriend saw a few years back when he was in high school. He said the card had two mana abilities. The first allowed you to regenerate the creature. The second used mana of a different color to untap the creature, allowing it to reenter the battle phase to block an additional creature. Your thoughts Answer community?

Hand stamps are no longer used. They scan your fingers instead. You can come and go all day at the same park. Just run your ticket through the machine and put your fingers on the scanner.
