Do Extremists Ruin The Chance Of World Peace?

Refer back to 1990′s kids cartoons that were politically correct, like the Magic School Bus and Captain Planet.
Imagine if people of different cultures, religions, and ethical backgrounds got together and settled their differences and got along. Discrimination was eliminated. Poverty is on its way to defeat. Everyone believed in peace and prosperity.
Now imagine a group of extremists, like the KKK for example, forming to oppose these acts of goodness. They want everything back to normal.
**Remember, don’t take this question too seriously. (especially if you are a racist or supremacist). Try sticking to answering the question instead of spewing nonsense intended towards me or a specific group of peoples.**

Will I Ruin My Life And Other Peoples If I Use My Time Machine?

I have devised a way to travel back in time but not forward ( I am still puzzled on this one). The details of how I have done this is irrelevant but my question is as follows.
If I decide to travel back to a certain date in my past and happen to meet myself or others that have som connection to me will this be detrimental to my current life as I know it?
My plan is to go back and remain undetected by using 21st century technology which is used often by performers such as David Blaine, but on the off chance that I am detected what do you think the best option would be?
You have 3 days and counting to save the future of the planet….or not.

Did Harry Potter Ruin My Ability To Sell A Magical Wizard Novel?

I’ve always wanted to write a book about wizards and magic. But now that Harry Potter is so famous, I can’t write what I really want to because I feel like if I do people will just tote is as a rip-off trying to copy J.K. Rowlings success. I’ve already seen a bunch of ‘boy wizard in magic school’ type of rip-offs since Harry Potter. Is tis category dead now for future novels? Of course I know I can still write other types of fantasy and magic stories, but specifically following the life of a young wizard…is that off-limits now?
