What Would You Name These Characters From My Novels?
These are all random characters out of so many books and stories I’ve written. I’m going to give you a description … and let’s see what you guys can come up with!
1. This girl is fifteen, short, has boring brown hair and glasses. She moves from Quebec to Prince Edward Island. Her favourite pastimes are reading and listening to music. People thinks she’s weird because she keeps mostly to herself…
2. This is a sixteen-year-old boy. He lives underground in a small city. He is sent up to the surface of the world to search for love. He has incredible brown eyes and dark brown hair. He’s extremely sweet. And, though this is a story set in the present time, he speaks like he’s from the 1800s because the city is underground, and that’s the only way they ever knew how to speak xD. The city is magical, and he’s graduated from Beginner’s Magic School. So when he goes to the surface of the earth, the girl who he falls in love with is fascinated by how mysterious he is. He looks at things with such interest…like it’s amazing how a bird flies and how a flower grows. And that’s true, for him, because he’s looking at these things with new eyes. He’s only ever known the magical creatures…well, enough. What do you name him?
3. This is a … weird vampire. (This is a hilarious story…don’t mind how stupid this sounds xD) HE’S GOT BUCK TEETH. Like, huge, weird teeth. And his best friend eats pickles. And he stalks the girl he likes. But she likes his pickle-eating friend. And he’s oblivious to that fact. His dad cheats on his mom, and his mom just innocently watches TV. That’s kinda funny, because in one scene in the story … never mind. Just, what would you name this f***ed up vamp? 
4. A nineteen-year-old girl who lives with her mom. She’s single, with a little baby boy named Dylan. She can’t go into college because she has to take care of Dylan. Her ex-boyfriend broke up with her as soon as she told him she was pregnant, and a week later, she saw him with another, way-more-attractive girl. She’d never spoken to him since. Well, the house she and her mom live in is getting harder and harder to take care of. So they let two other people – a guy and his mom – move in with them, to pay rent to them. This guy’s name is Mitch. Well, he is in artist. He absolutely loves Dylan. He is the girl’s age, too. Eventually, the girl falls in an awkward love with him. Again, enough of my going on and on … what would you name this character?
5. This isn’t a main character in a book … but basically, she’s a *****. xD She wears so much make-up that you can’t tell what is natural. The way she speaks itself is threatening enough. Her hair reaches her shoulders, and is a shockingly bright and light blonde. With black streaks. She lies to the main character, and is very, very mean. Invites her to a party that she makes sound like it’s “PG”…but really, it was a huge house party with zero parental supervision, etc. etc. She is sneaky. And she likes the same person the main character likes, so just HOW much worse does she treat the main character? Nastily worse. What would you name this evil character >.>
What do you guys come up with? Later I will tell you the names I already have picked out for them in an edit.

I was watching a movie with a friend, I think its called The Wiz. When we went to the part with the scarecrow, who wanted a brain she was all, if the scarecrow doesnt have a brain how is he moving talking. And the tin man, who said he didnt have any feelings, then when she saw him cry and smile, she’s all That makes no sense, if the tin man had no feelings why did he cry.
In the harry potter movie we saw together, she annoyed everyone saying that there is no way a magic school can exist in a castle without the governemt noticing.
She was kind of annoying.

I was watching a movie with a friend. It’s the harry potter and the chamber of secrets movie. You know that part where Ron stole the flying car? and they got caught by snape. Snape got a copy of the newspaper saying what happened on the same day at the event. And Jessi was yelling out, “What the hell?! How would the press know the same day of the event? AND HOW COULD SEVEN MUGGLES IN LONDON SEE A FLYING CAR?! THERE HAS TO BE ALOT MORE THAN THAT!! LIKE 25 OR SOMETHING. AND HOW WOULD THE PAPERS KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE SAW A FLYING CAR?!
(Order of the phoenix)And she kept on saying, there is no way a magic school could exist in the castle without the government noticing. And what about when the buildings split up, surely someone could have noticed that.
After the movie she yells out, this movie sucks, if they have to make a make believe story at least make it realistic.
You seen these kids shows when animals talk? She asks why the hell are animals talking. Animals can’t talk!

I Would Like To Become A Secondary Education Biology Teacher (6th-12th)…?
and I would like to know a little more about it from an actual teachers perspective. I understand I have to speak to my College counselor about it but here is some information about myself…
I will be just starting college in September and I will be 20 years old. I have no prior college credits or anything (I have my High School diploma and all…) I decided to take 2 years off to decide thoroughly what I wanted to do (Not sure if it was smart or not so I hope I am still young. enough to pursue this career well. Currently I work at a Daycare for kids from 10 months to 13 years. Ever since elementary school I have been interested in Natural Sciences and such. I was a huge Magic School Bus fan as well as Bill Nye among many other science programs. (Just to give a little childhood background) I’m not great at math by any means. I do very well in Englsh, History and also love to do some Art as a hobby.
Now for the questions (thanks to anyone who reads and responds by the way…)
Am I young enough still to pursue this? Will I have a disadvantage because I have not completed any coursework at all?
How was the journey through schooling? Was it horribly difficult? I’m up for a challenge but would like to know if I will be able to work at my Daycare while going to school.
Will working at a Daycare provide me a slight advantage? I understand that it is not High School students and that they are MUCH different to deal with but will it look good on a resume? If not, what jobs should I look for? (I have no teaching cert. at all so an assistant is out of the question for right now)
What courses are required besides the obvious Biology? Will I HAVE to take Chemistry or Physics or can I take Bioloigy and Earth Science? Is Math THAT important? I can do basic things and probably a bit more if I really focus but the word Calculus scares me!
How is the pay for a Biology teacher? I do not want a job based on pay however, I would like something that will obviously feed me and allow me to be independant from anyone (I want to be able to ALWAYS support me myself and I even if I do have a spouse I want independence so I don’t end up stuck in a rut)
I have patience and from making a list of things I would like to pursue for myself in the future a teaching job seems the correct path for me to take. I have thought about it and reviewed my pros and cons and this is what I would like to do! And YES I have patience for kids and I am also a kid myself (at heart, ALWAYS will be!)
Thanks for your responses in advance. I just want to have an informed decision from real world people and not just some college counselor.
Would You Agree That Most Reasonable People Can Tell The Difference Between What Is Real, And What Is Fantasy?
Then why is it that creationists cannot seem to grasp the simple fact that creation, is make-believe?
They claim that they can distinguish between astronomy and astrology, chemistry and alchemy, medicine and voodoo magic. Yet when it comes to creationism, they apparently lose all capacity for reason.
Now, I’m not saying “all of them are like this” but you must agree that the vast majority of them accept Evolutionary theory’s fruits (such as flu vaccines) while bemoaning it’s teaching in schools.
