These boys trained since birth in a special animal kungfu (the book title is the style of kung fu that the main character trains in) All of the boys are orphans. 1 day their temple is attacked and destroyed now they must separate to stay away from there evil orphan brother ying who trained in eagle kung fu ying thinks he should have been a dragon so he steals the dragon scrolls which teach dragon kung fu. Alex Rider series is a really good one….. Stormbreaker,Point Blank, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike….Those books are by Anthony Horowitz. Let’s see there is Zach’s Lie and that was written by Roland Smith. He writes really good books so you might want to check those out….Avi is another good author, and Tamara Pierce. She is really good I like her. There are others I just can’t think of them so I will get back to you…okay?
You need to read a book called “Wings of Dawn” by Sigmund Brouwer. It used to be called Magnus, but it changed for some reason …
anyway, it’s a great book. historical fiction, based on real history. So good …
Silas Marner by George Eliot
Read the Eyes of the World by Robert Jordan, and start your way off into a HUGE new world.
Pick up:
Tombs, by F. Paul Wilson.
Or any Repairman Jack novels by him.
the spy wore red
Read “As a Man Thinketh”,by James Allen. You can buy it for around $6.00. Also, you can download it from the Internet for free. It is not an action or adventure book,BUT it is the best book I ever read. I wish I knew about it when I was in Jr High. It will take you about 1 1/2 hours to read.
read the house of the scorpian by nancy farmer, im 13 too and i loved it. its about cloning in “mexico”. it was really dark and edgy.
heres some more:
tithe, holly black
valiant, holly black
peeps, scott westerfeld
hoot, carl hiasaan
killing britany, sean something
The Hobbit is incredible. If you are looking for something with more political significance try 1984.
harry potter
Try books by Tamara Pierce? The Protector of the Small series is good. And if you’re looking for a challenge try Oliver Twist, anything by Shakespeare and Jane Eyre. Also the Charlie Bone books arent that magicky like Harry Potter, and u might like them.
