I LOVED the original 1950′s version of the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB… with ANNETTE and all… it was in black and white and I remember being very small–maybe 5 or 6 and being in the hospital having one of my numerous operations and having a small stack of quarters by my bed—–tv’s in the hospitals were 25 CENTS per 1/ 2 hour and they had a coin slot like a washing machine at a laundromat…someone had to put the quarter IN for me as I was bed ridden but someone ALWAYS came in just in time for the start of MICKEY MOUSE CLUB…that was over 50 YEARS ago now.. hard to believe all that time has just flown by…
