It seems that today’s cartoons just aren’t that good.
I was just watching something on youtube and it reminded me of some of my favorite cartoons of my childhood.
List: In no order…
Pokemon
Digimon
Yu-gi-oh
Hey Arnold
Arthur
magic School Bus
Justice league
Dexter
Johny Bravo, Swat Katz, captain planet…and many more..
Do kids today even have good cartoons to watch..??
So what were your favorite cartoons while you were growing up?

I can agree with the asker. Most of today’s cartoons are just awful. Even worse, most of the good anime from japan are either taken off the air, aired at ridiculous timeslots where nobody watches them, or butchered horribly by companies like 4kids. Putting two and two together, there isn’t much here to look foward to anymore. I’d hate to be a kid today.
    Favorite cartoons growing up:
    Looney Tunes
    Tom and Jerry
    X-men (the original 90′s cartoon)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the 80′s cartoon)
    Animaniacs
    Pinky & the Brain
    Duck Tales
    Rocko’s Modern Life
    Rugrats (pre-shark jump *coughcoughDilcough*)
    Ahh! Real Monsters!
    Doug
    Ren and Stimpy
    Hey Arnold
The Simpsons (the early seasons, 1-8)
    Johnny Bravo
    Dexter’s Lab
    the Powerpuff girls (-_-.v)
    Ed Edd, n’ Eddy
    Courage the Cowardly Dog
Cartoons now just aren’t the same. A lot of shows now are poorly animated, or just aim for the lowest common denominator. I feel old thinking that a whole generation of kids now is going to grow up with characters like Peter Griffin and the cast of Drawn Together, not knowing anything about the golden years when cartoons were actually funny, original, well written and well animated.
Edit: Spongebob, Flapjack, and Avatar are among the only good cartoons worth watching anymore these days. It’s a shame.
    Re-edit (lol): And Chowder’s alright.
