John Lennon had a life-long connection with the number. he was born on October 9th in a city named Liverpool (nine letters). The Beatles’ first single had a serial number of R4949. The songs “One After 909″, “Revolution 9″, and “#9 Dream” (which peaked at number 9 in the charts) are all John Lennon compositions. John’s ninth solo album was released in the ninth month of 1974.
