Which Magic: The Gathering Cards Is Able To Regenerate And Reenter The Battle Phase?
I was told of a card that my boyfriend saw a few years back when he was in high school. He said the card had two mana abilities. The first allowed you to regenerate the creature. The second used mana of a different color to untap the creature, allowing it to reenter the battle phase to block an additional creature. Your thoughts Answer community?
thats not possible.
you declare blockers all in at once, you cant have a creature block then let damage resolve then regnerate and then untap and block again, you only declare blockers once.
the only way that creature would be worth while is if you were playing a multiplayer game and needed to be able to block on the next turn(assuming it wasnt your turn).
also for future reference .. there called activated abilitys using mana is how you activate them, and its the combat step(phase) not battle.
The closest card I could find was Locust Swarm.
Locust Swarm – (3)(G)
Creature – Insect (1/1)
Flying
G: Regenerate Locust Swarm.
G: Untap Locust Swarm. Activate this ability only once each turn.
It doesn’t fit perfectly into what you’re looking for (such as the second ability entirely), but it’s the closest thing I could find.
