If something is magic, where does its power originate? Certainly not from God. Here is what God said through Moses to the nation of Israel:
Deu 18:9 “When you arrive in the land the Lord your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there.
Deu 18:10 For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering.[fn1] And do not let your people practice fortune-telling or sorcery, or allow them to interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft,
Deu 18:11 or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead.
Deu 18:12 Anyone who does these things is an object of horror and disgust to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these things that the Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you”
Nothing magic about the goo.
Magic lies in the inadequacy of human perception to get around the A.P.
I look at the goo and literally see goo ( I can distinguish between the figurative and the literal). You look at the goo and literally see god. Who is the sane one here?
In answer to the question, I think we should teach about the goo in Sunday school. Why not? You all want to teach about the ‘god-shaped goo’ in secular schools!
HUH?
